Paul Russell has been a Parish/Town Clerk since entering the sector in 1990 with over 30 years experience of the sector with all its quirks and diversity. He can provide a comprehensive, efficient and cost effective Internal Audit Service that aims to meet all the needs of your Council. 

The Audit Service follows the requirements set out under the Joint Panel on Accountability and Governance (JPAG) Practitioners' Guide. It includes a review of the Council and Committee minutes, agendas and policies, a review of its financial transactions and the way it reports its financial transactions to Council. A full audit report is provided alongside the completion of the Internal Audit section of the AGAR at year end.

For larger councils we provide interim audits, governance audits and an end of year audits as required.

We provide services throughout England and Wales and are able to undertake audits either onsite or remotely.
